WHY THE EMPHASIS ON CHIC'CHAN IS SO IMPORTANT NOW

The simple answer is Gucumatz. More precisely, the Return of Gucumatz.

By this point, we have all heard some variant of the Maya and Taino “Prophecies” for 2012. December 21, 2012, Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, and Summer Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere, is the marked “end date” of the Maya Long Count, which started on August 13th, 3114 BCE.
The original, actual “prophecies” have none of the 20th and 21st Century Millennial flair that has been hoisted upon them by the crumbling Western empire. Nowhere do any of the originals mention anything about harmonic convergences, magic crystals, magic crystal skulls, wayward comets, billiard-ball-behaving planets, UFOs, aliens, planetary Rubik's-cubing, runaway asteroids, solar coronal orgasms, nuclear war, Israeli dominance, or invading giant pudding pops.
So what do the sources mentioning the equivalent date of December 21, 2012 say about that day?

“All the kings shall fall, and the men shall walk free on the rounded face of the Xeti Aon Coaybay (biosphere of Earth). Cacibu visits and embraces the men, and the New Creation begins” - Chilam Balam of Utuado

“The kings are all fallen, the katun established at Chichen itza. The resettlement of the Itza shall take place there. Our Lord Quetzal shall come, the bird will return. Ah Kantenal shall come. Blood-vomit shall come. Kulkulkan shall come with them a second time. It is the Word of the Creator.” - Chilam Balam of Chumayel

“So that he might return from the West, uniting us in hope over our present unhappy plight! This is the fulfilment of the words of Katun 5 Ahau... God grant that the Deliverer Serpent will come save us from our afflictions, who will answer our prayers in Katun 1 Ahau!” - Chilam Balam of Tizimin.

There are three structural lintels- Chichen Itza has 2, and one is in a new find on the Guatemala- Mexico border that also mention the date, and they mimic the Utuado and Chumayel statements closely. Chilam Balam means Jaguar Wisdom, by the way. Utuado, Chumayel, and Tizimin are cities where the books were found, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Guatemala, respectively.

Let's look at the workings of the Maya-Taino calendar, the Tzolkin.

There are twenty day names available, named after gods or natural aspects and animals. These run over and over again in order. Added to this continual rotation of twenty day names are 13 numbers. These numbers also run in a repeating cycle, but at the fourteenth day name, it is numbered 1 again.
A day is called a Kin, which also means Sun.
Twenty Kins make a Winal, or month, and eighteen Winals make a Tun, or year of 360 days. The remaining 5.4 days are considered “dead days”, or “Wayeb”, and are off the observed calendar.
Twenty Tuns make a Katun (7,200 Kins), and twenty Katuns make a Baktun (144,000 Kins).
The full 365.2 day year is called the Haab.
Thirteen Baktuns (1,872,000 Kins) is a Great Cycle.
The Tzolkin is not only a combination lunar and solar calendar. It also maps the known planets, as shown by the Dresden Codex, where Venus and Mars are featured players in the almanac. The locations and behaviors of the planets were important harbingers for the Maya and Taino- Venus was Icoqui, a version of Quetzalcoatl/Kulkulkan as the star. Sirius was also on the schedule.
So, the Maya and Taino also loved 52 year bundles, also referred to as a Baktun in writings on Venus, Mars, and Sirius, as the 52-year cycle calibrated and added the behavior of the three into the rest of the Tzolkin. Pretty good astronomy for people “too dumb to invent the wheel”, eh? Oh, and I've seen several wheeled toys in different Maya museum collections. So that fallacy is gone as well.

So we have a penchant for 52-year bundles. Ten of those would be 520 years. December 21st 2012 is exactly 10 52-year Haab bundles since the Columbian invasion. 520 years, being a multiple of 52 and another favorite Venus number 10, marks the end of a political cycle or envisioned era.
You may have heard of the Maya “collapse”, or how they “suddenly up and abandoned their cities”. The abandonment is correct, they would leave where they were to start over on a 520 year mark. They would consider their time there done, it was time to move on. Take the same idea globally, and you have the vision for 21 December 2012.

I am not only praying the ancestors were right, I'm betting on it. And I am not a gambling man.

So getting your CHIC'CHAN activated and keeping it running and nourished is the order for the year. As I said in a previous essay, Love and CHIC'CHAN like your future depends on it, because it does.

Penises, penises everywhere- yet not a cock allowed to be thought about!

So we found several new-to-us books on the Sacred Phallic Masculine, and have acquired copies.

The first is The Serpent And The Sacred Fire: Fertility Images in Southwest Rock Art by Dennis Slifer. Museum of New Mexico Press, Santa Fe NM, 2000. This book matches the second book, Kokopelli: The Magic, Mirth, and Mischief of an Ancient Symbol book by the same author, Gibbs Smith, Publisher, Santa Fe NM 2007. Both of these books feature phallic and erotic petroglyphs ranging from ancient to 19th-century cowboy graffiti. While the focus is on the desert Southwest of the EEUU, much more is featured: the Peterborough, Ontario site is featured, as is Namibian, Zimbabewan, and Transvaal glyphs! Slifer went quite thorough on his research. His text is a bit goddess-ey, and he includes fertility and hetero-oriented glyphs in his works; but his books are still overflowing with information, and make amazing and important reads. Other amazing glyphs offered are a male giving birth through his erection (found at Sabaean, Yemen), and Gnostic serpent staffs- which bring us to the third book, The Rod and Serpent of Asklepios: Symbol of Medicine by Jan Schouten (translated from Dutch by Ms. M.E. Hollander), Elsevier Publishing Company, Amsterdam, 1967. Schouten was an art historian, and was Director of the Municipal Museum of Gouda, The Netherlands.

The Rod and Serpent of Asklepios is a dry read through early Christian, Medieval, and Enlightenment history, particularly art and medicine. Professor Schouten is an able guide, who is thorough, and keeps the ideas on track. He offers delightful and obscure insights and interpretation of the serpent-on-a-stick motif throughout history, be it a singular serpent or a double Caduceus. I learned quite a bit, and am awed by how persistent and powerful these symbols have been, and how they have survived, albeit obscured and no longer understood, in the Western mindframe. In the monotheist Bible, Numbers 21:4 and John 3:14 are related, the crucified Jesus being the replacement for the Serpent of Brass Upon a Stick. Did you also know the Caduceus was only accepted widespread in modern times at the 10th General Assembly of the World Medical Association in Havana, Cuba in October of 1956? Their official title is the Aesculapian emblem. Apparently we cannot escape our past so easily, and it continues to reappear, albeit in “hollow symbols, with the original meaning lost”.

The next and final book in this bundle is The Complete Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Egypt by Richard H. Wilkinson (yes, of the famous Egyptologist family Wilkinson), Thames and Hudson, NY, 2003. Now among the extensive explanations of Egyptian religion and ritual, and the exhaustive list of Egyptian deities offered in a user-friendly, heavily-illustrated format, are some truly shocking Sacred masculine finds. Beyond a retelling of the Cosmic Creation by Atum, (who lay upside down on the Benben, and masturbated the other gods into existence- more on that in another essay), and the Horus versus Seth contest of trying to inseminate each other so they can claim the throne (more on that in another essay, too), we see pictures and profiles of Min and Nehebu-Kau. Min is an ithyphallic mummiform, who is related to Atum and Osiris, and who covers healing, fertility, and masculine rooting and mysteries. Min is depicted as a standing, swaddle-wrapped thin male, wearing a high plumed crown.
Min is depicted as a darker color, and he is always smiling. His right arm is up and out, almost behind him. The only other part of Min outside his wrappings is his straight-out-ahead erection. In many museums, Min has been castrated, and the images of him have no phalluses, as they were considered offensive to Victorian and Edwardian sensibilities. One can only hope there are drawers full of Min erections awaiting restoration and repatriations in Museum archives.
Nehebu-Kau is depicted as an arm-and-legged serpent with a prominent erection. His neck is collared, like a prepuce pulled back to expose the glans. This is significant, as the Egyptians circumcised at puberty. Nehebu-Kau's name means “he who harnesses the spirits”, and he was a great healer and strengthener, and could speak on behalf of the Pharaoh to the Two Enneads. My favorite depiction of Nehebu-Kau is him standing upright, feeding a naked Pharaoh (both have raging, large erections) the Apple of the Tree of Knowledge! It explains the Adam and Eve serpent story quite perfectly. Both Min and Nehebu-Kau are old deities, original dating to before the Old Kingdom. They remained popular through the thousands of years of Egyptian history, right up into the Greco-Roman period. It is significant, because Egypt is one of the roots of the monotheist religions- pre-12th dynasty, Egypt was extremely masculinist and tribal; the 18th dynasty onward was monotheist, imperial, genocidal, and feminized (thank you, Akenaten, who is Tutankhamun's father, and his great-auntie, trannie drag king Hatshepsut).

After yet even more data on the Sacred Masculine, it must be asked again- what is wrong with us today? Why don't/ can't/ won't we rediscover, engage, and live this glorious, powerful masculine heritage? What overwhelming forces compel us to run from what is built into us by our Creator? Why have we allowed our connection to the Divine to be severed?

The time has come for us to be ready, able, and willing to embrace and become the full masculine glory we were born to be.

If A Brother- Paying It Forward Campaign

Greetings, Bronkeys!

It is now December 2011, and Monkey Brothers Playing continues to develop and grow. The world has gone insane, and we will continue to be a stalwart citadel for males wishing to exit the insane ZioFempire paradigms. It is quite difficult at times to stay focused on the positive, and Phlip and I will try our best to keep the blog more positive and nurturing; sure there is plenty of bad, but we must NEVER forget the good at all. Your many submissions have provided me with a deepening realization that the Monkey Consciousness is alive and well, and is so in some unexpected (for me at least) places, including the military! The wonder for me of this site is to see how each Bronkey helps steer and polish the community. I am deeply grateful for all the inspiration and effort put in by each and every Bronkey, be it public or private posts and correspondence.

We have several new Bronkeys as of late, including a former militiaman who lives in a Guatiao trio! (What a Lucky Monkey!) I am honored as always that we can serve you and preserve the safe, sacred, all-male space and time. I want to encourage ALL of you to continue to post ideas, essays, articles, links, and those great and amazing pictures of Bronkeys being Bronkeys. Frequently I sit and stare at the Bronkey Footprints map on the blog. I encourage you to do so, it is quite humbling and amazing. MBP is being read and having an effect GLOBALLY, a fact I still can't wrap my pollywog noggin around. Truly amazing.

So, as we continue to grow and adapt to our Bronkeys wherever they may be, we will be evolving to meet the needs of our community. This will include more chat groups as needed, a re-launched youtube channel (featuring new videos- including those sent in by Bronkeys), and a renovation of the main site.
In the spirit of my culture's 2012 renewal consciousness, the upcoming year will be one of new growth and positive changes- the main site by the end of the renovation will focus less on the ZioFempire, and will focus intensely on the Chic'chan (a whole new section and book are coming- I'm already writing it!), and on aspects of the Old School paradigm in other cultures around the world. We are also going to have videos featuring these images and ideas in other cultures, as seeing is easier than sifting through thousands of words. The first video is being planned, I will visit the Metropolitan Art Museum and the American Museum Of Natural History in New York City, and make a video as I tour their exhibits, highlighting the Chic'chan and Bronkeys in each culture. (If you live near a museum that features artifacts, please do so as well!)

The further I research MBP topics, the deeper and more widespread it goes. Our detractors and deniers have no ground to stand on at this point, their beachhead has shrunk to nothing. The MBP community in Manahatouac is growing in ways I had only dreamed of. Males are tired of the paradigms, and we need the new paradigms of nurturing, creation, and love in place, so as the old one disappears, we are ready. Several churches in Manahatouac have done variants of a “Pay It Forward” campaign. The idea is to encourage politeness and kindness by smiling, holding a door, being patient, etc. I suggest we do a MBP version of this. That's going to require every Bronkey to be the best Bronkey they can be where they are. We are role models and heroes, and we should live to reflect that. Bring that same sense of wonder and acceptance and discovery that you found when you found us to those around you. Challenge the paradigm by living the example of a great Bronkey. Become the change you wish to see- love the males in your life openly, completely, and unconditionally; mentor and nurture the boys in your life; stick together and help support and protect each other; speak truth and be honorable and brave to and for each other; live passionately and create intensely; and be proud of being male. I truly believe by living in ways such as these, we will manifest and accomplish so much more than by trying to fight politically or psychologically. The victory lies in the hearts of men, not in a boardroom or house of government. Always remember: “I am become LOVE, Creator of the Cosmos!” You are sacred, the Creators and Makers made you so; live up to their glory that is in you!

In return, I promise to remain focused on the positive, to encourage, nurture, and share openly with all of you; and I promise to observe and report, but not judge. We need each other's solidarity and support to succeed in this, and make the world safer for EVERYONE, especially our Bronkeys and sons. We can do all of this RIGHT NOW, RIGHT WHERE WE ARE, and BEING EXACTLY WHO WE ARE. Please read the “If A Brother” poem again:
IF A BROTHER...
If a Brother is crying, hold and console him
If a Brother is hungry, feed him
If a Brother is depressed, engage him
If a Brother is laughing, ask him to share the joke
If a Brother is cold, cover him
If a Brother is tired, let him sleep
If a Brother is questioning, answer him
If a Brother needs a Brother, be there for him
If a Brother is weak, protect him
If a Brother loves you, love him back
If a Brother is horny, nuzzle and rub him
If a Brother wins, celebrate with him
If a Brother is speaking, listen to him
If a Brother is singing, sing contrapunto for him
If a Brother needs a hug, embrace him
If a Brother is feeling ugly, show him his beauty
If a Brother shares himself, accept him and share back
If a Brother reaches out, reach back for him
If a Brother is angry, let him vent
If a Brother is in pain, ease him
Without Guiarq, Quibey, and Tekguiarq, we males are lost.

Let's live this, everyday. If we do, I am sure the world we live in will get better. I know I am asking a lot, but you have all proven to be amazing, decent, strong men of good character and solid ethics. WE CAN DO THIS!

I'm in. Are you with me?

Indigenous Native American Prophecy

I urge everyone to watch this videos closely, this is the wisdom that is needed today and to the core of Monkey brothers playing culture!
